Kabhi taRap utha meri aah se
Kabhi ashk se na pighal saka

Sar-e-raah mila wo agar kabhi
To nazar chura ke guzar gaya

Wo utar gaya meri aankh se
Mere dil se kyoon na utar saka

Wo chala gaya jahaan choR ke
Me wahaan se phir na plat saka

Wo sambhal gaya tha Faraz magar
Ma bikhar ke phir na simat saka
