بھری بہار میں اب کے عجیب پھول کھلے
نہ اپنے زخم ہی مہکے ، نہ دل کے چاک سلے

کہاں تلک کوئی ڈھونڈے مسافروں کا سراغ
بچھڑنے والوں کا کیا ہے ، ملے ملے نہ ملے

عجیب قحط کا موسم تھا اب کے بستی میں
کیے ہیں بانجھ زمینوں سے بارشوں نے گِلے

یہ حادثہ سرِ ساحل رُلا گیا سب کو
بھنور میں ڈوبنے والوں کے ہاتھ بھی نہ ملے

سناں کی نوک، کبھی شاخِ دار پہ محسن
سخنوروں کو ملے ہیں مشقتوں کے صلے
