During the Nokia Connection event held in Singapore, Nokia announced its first-ever smartphone based MeeGo, called Nokia N9. This is a handset that is advertised as a pure touch device, which has no keypad facing forward. N9 Nokia smartphones equipped with a curved 3.9-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 854 x 480, camera for video calls are facing forward, and the camera is facing belakang8 megapixel autofocus camera with dual LED flash, video recording 720p, and Carl Zeiss optics.



N9 pure touch smartphone is powered by a 1GHz processor TI, OMAP 3630 16GB/64GB onboard storage, 1GB of RAM, and runs MeeGo OS 1.2. Besides the entertainment, smartphones Nokia has been supporting Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby Headphone. It is equipped with NFC capability, 802.11 b / g / n WiFi, a micro USB port, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1, and 1450 mAh battery.



Nokia N9 MeeGo smartphone has a polycarbonate body with black, magenta or cyan color choices. This smartphone works on quad-band GSM, penta-band WCDMA, and HSDPA support 14.4Mbps. Dimensions of the handset N9 116.45 x 61.2 x 12.1 mm and weighs 135 grams.
