Teri baat mukammal thi meri baat adhuri thi
ye takmeel adhore pan ki payar main buhat zarori thi

to ne yonhi mehsoos kiya he warna dil main kuch bhi na tha
bas ik teri chahat thi or wo bhi gher sha'ori thi

payar k deep jalae rakhna apni apni rahon par
teri bhi majbori thi or mare bhi majbori thi

wohi rawayya akhar pan ka muddat bad bhi qayam he
nikli thi jab tare moon se aadhi baat bhi pori thi

mere samne beth k jase us ne nazar andaaz kiya
kon kahe ga apne dil ki us k dil se dori thi

saad muhabbat heer ranjha tak to mahdood nahi
na mare kan main bale or na us k haath main chori thi

Kabhi zindagi me kisik liay mut rona**
q k vo''tumhare ansoun k kabil nahi ho ga''
or ''vo'' jo is ''kabil'' ho ga vo tumhe ''rone'' nahi de ga''*****
