Aur to koi bas na chalega hijr k dard k maron ka

aur to koi bas na chalega hijr k dard k maron ka
subah ka hona dubhar kar dein rasta rok sitaron ka

jhuthe sikon mein bhi utha dete hain aksar sacha mal
shaklen dekh k sauda karna kam hai in banjaron ka

apni zuban se kuch na kahenge chup hi rahenge ashiq log
tum se to itna ho sakta hai pucho hal becharon ka

ek zara si bat thi jis ka charcha pohuncha gali gali
ham gumnamon ne phir bhi ehsan na mana yaron ka

dard ka khna chikh utho dil ka taqaza waza nibhao
sab kuchh sehna chup chup rahna kam hai izzatdaron ka
