SSP attack case: ATC issues arrest warrants for Imran, Tahirul Qadri -

According English news media by its pakistan news resources ISLAMABAD: The Anti-Terrorism Court on Monday issued arrest warrants for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan and Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Tahirul Qadri, on Monday. According to the details, ATC issued orders for the police to arrest PTI chief Imran Khan and PAT leader Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri in a case pertaining to attack on then Senior Superintendent of Islamabad Police (SSP) Asmatullah Junejo during sit-ins. The ATC had issued warrants for the two political figures for the second time in the SSP attack case. The court had also issued their arrest warrants on May 31. The SSP was thrashed by the protesters near the Constitution Avenue on September 1, 2014. Proceedings for the SSP Asmatullah Junejo assault case was postponed till July 25.
