Na jee bhar kay dekha na kuch baat ki,
Badi aarzoo thi mulakaat ki !

Kayee saal say kuch khabar hi nahin,
Kahan din guzara kahan raat kee !

Main chup tha to chalti hawa ruk gayee,
Zuban sab samjhtay hain jazbaat ki !

Sitaron ko shaayad khabar hi nahin,
Musaafir nay jaanay kahan raat Dee !
