ham roz ashiyan bana k jala dete hain
khaakh tere shehar ki janib udaa dete hain

raat bhar jgaatay hain khwaboon ko apne shath
waqt-e-sehar sab ko sula dete hain

jo zara sa ho ihsah khud k behakne ka
ham khud ko tere pehloo se uthaa detay hain

raat bhar jala k apnay lahoo se
ham aarzoo ka diya bujha dete hain

tum apni le bethe ho MuNdA
log to Rab ko bhula dete hain
