sub si chupa kar dard jo woh muskura diya
uski hansi nai tu aj muj ko rula diya

lehjay se uth rahih thi har ek dard ki dastan
chehra bata raha tha ki sab kuch gawa diya

awaz mai thehrao tha ankhon mai nami thi
aur muskura k keh raha tha k sub kuch bhula diya

jane kia thi us ko logo si shikayatian
tanhai ki des mai khud ko basa diya

khud bhi woh ham se bichar kar adhora sa ho gaya
mujh ko bhi itne logo mai tanha bana diya
