Kar barbad ashiyaN mera jane wo kidhar gaya
dekh bhi leta sapnoeN ka ghar jo bikhar gaya

Kiya karta tha jo waada mudaam saath rahene ka
Jane wo shaqs apne waade se kyun mukar gaya

Raund gaya woh arman saare apne kadmo tale aur
mujhe zindagaanee bhar ki tanhaii de kar gaya

chubh rahe tute khwaboeN ke haqeeqat iss kadar
Jaise mere seene me ho aab-daar khanjar utar gaya

uski yaadoeN se bhara yeh dil yun jalta hai
Jaise iss maiN ho koi dahakta angaar bhar gaya
