tamannaon ke sagar main
doob kar jeenay ki hasrat

koi manzil panay ki dhun main
sehra sehra phir lena

kabhi pyar ke bheeni khushbu se
jism-o-jaan ko mehkana

aur chaand ko chhonay ki khuahish main
apna aap gawa dena

jeewan ke is anjaan safar ke
khuab main likhna chahta hon

ik dor jisay kat jana hai
ik shamma jisay bujh jana hai

ik kashti be-sar-o-samaan
haalat ki khooni lehron per

chalti hai, dagmagati hai
aur ranj-o-gham ki maujon main

kahin phir doob jati hai
zindagi ke is gumnaam safar ke

be khuahish, be aaraam safar ke
azaab main likhna chaahta hon

is jagmagati mehfil ke
kuch raaz main likhna chahta hon
