Ye ajeeb marhalay haiN, Ye ajeeb silsilay haiN
ke jahaaN say hum chalay thay, ussi moR pe khaRay haiN

Wuhii raasta humaraa, hay wuhii daGar humaari
jo na jaaey manziloN tak ye wuhii tou raastay haiN

rahay saath saath har pal na gumaaN huwaa ye mil kar
jissey dostii thay kahtay wuh kuch aur sisliay haiN

ye saraab tou nahiN hay koii khawaab tou nahiN hay
zaraa aap hii bataaiN ye jo hum meiN faasilay haiN

nahiN mumkin uss ko paana tou phir uss say kyuN milaiN hum
karaiN justuju bhii kyuN hum issi soch meiN paRay haiN

teray naam zindgaani, hay yehii meri kahaani
merii zindagii meiN roshan terii yaad kay diye haiN

merii qurbatoN say pehlay, zara juratoN say pehlay
merii jaan soch lenaa keh ye raastay kaRay haiN
