Na jaaney aaj ye kis ka Khayaal aaya hai
Khushi kaa rang liye har malaal aaya hai

Woh ek shaKhs ki haasil na thaa jo - Khud ko bhii
mitaa kisi pe to kaisaa bahaal aaya hai

Zubaan pe harf-e-talab bhi nahiin koi phir bhi......
nigaah-e-dost mein rang-e-jalaal aaya hai

kiya na zikr bhi jis ka tamaam umar kabhi sameer
hamaarey kaam bohat woh malaal aaya hai

Nahin hai tum se koi dostii bhi ab to magar
qadam qadam pe ye kaisaa Wabaal aaya hai..........

Hun mein is ada se bhi aashna tujhe itna jis pe gharoor hai
mein jeon ga tere beghair bhi mujhe zindagi ka shaoor hai

Yeh pathron ka shaher hey - yahan to ansoo bhi jum jate hain
