Khushiyon ke qarib hum nahi
Apnon mein habeeb hum nahi

Na daal hairat bhari nazar
Itne bhi ajeeb hum nahi

Kar yakin meri ulfat par
Wafaon se garib hum nahi

Shaamil rakh apne doston mein
Kisi ke raqeeb hum nahi

Andheren bhi gum ho jaye
Taaron jaisi saaqib hum nahi

Koi dekhe bhi nazar bhar
Mahefil mein jaazib hum nahi

Shikwen hi hai kismat apni
Sab kahe najeeb hum nahi

Har dili khwahish ho poori
Aise khushnaseeb hum nahi
