NazreiN hai qaatilana yeh meri khataa nahi
mat soch zaalim kii mujh meiN wafaa nahi

is dilkash adaaoN kaa deewaane hai sabhi
magar dil-o-jaaN se koii mujh per fidaa nahi

in jheel jaisi aaknhoN meiN vo jhank kar duba
kyoN nikal na payaa vo yeh mujhe pataa nahi

bekhudi meiN bas yoN hi uth gaya tha kadam
us shakhs se mujhe koi sikwaa ya gilaa nahi

umeed -e-wafaa sab lagaye baithe hai mujhe se
sachai ko dikha saku mere pass vo aayinaa nahi
