kabhii saayaa hai kabhii dhuup muqaddar meraa
hotaa rahataa hai yuuN hii qarz baraabar meraa

TuuT jaate hain kabhii mere kinaare mujh men
Duub jaataa hai kabhii mujh men samandar meraa

kisii saharaa men bichhaD jaayenge sab yaar mere
kisii jangal men bhaTak jaayegaa lashkar meraa

baavafaa thaa to mujhe puuchhane vaale bhii na the
bevafaa huuN to huaa naam bhii ghar ghar meraa

kitane haNsate hue mausam abhii aate lekin
ek hii dhuup ne kumhalaa diyaa manzar meraa

aaKhirii jur'a-e-pur_kaif ho shaayad baaqii
ab jo chhalakaa to chhalak jaayegaa saaGar meraa
