Gam mujhe hasarat mujhe vahashat mujhe saudaa mujhe
ek dil deke Khudaa ne de diyaa kyaa kyaa mujhe

hai husuul-e-aarazuu kaa raaz tark-e-aarazuu
mai.n ne duniyaaa chho.D dii to mil ga_ii duniyaa mujhe

kah ke soyaa huu.N ye apane iztaraab-e-shauq se
jab vo aaye.N qabr par fauran jagaa denaa mujhe

subah tak kyaa kyaa terii ummiid ne taane diye
aa gayaa thaa shaam-e-Gam ek nii.nd kaa jho.nkaa mujhe

ye namaaz-e-ishq hai kaisaa adab kisakaa adab
apane paay-e-namaaz par karane do sajdaa mujhe

dekhate hii dekhate duniyaa se mai.n uTh jaauu.Ngaa
dekhatii kii dekhatii rah kjaayegii duniyaa mujhe
