ik shehar ki tang ghalion main
ik hanstay bstay anghan main
do pyar karnay walay rehtay thay
jo pyar ki batain kartay thay
pal bhar ki judai sy dartay thay
bas pyar main jeetay martay thay

phir ik raat is anghan main
ik tez hawa k jhonkay main
sab bikhra raat andhairi main
woh chor gya is dhool main

ab baithi ha woh anghan main
gum sum ha woh un yaadon main
jab anghan k pairh talay
woh pyar ki puja kartay thay
aisay main sadi woh kehti thi
hum tum bin jee na pain gay
