Tum subah ka tara lagte ho
Ik noor ka dhara lagte ho

Yeh phool charaag kaha'n tm se
Tum chand sitra lagte ho

Tum khud hI meri manzal ya
Manzal ka isharah lagte ho

Kya nirmal komal lehja hai
Tum sher hamara lagte ho

Meri ankh main jo jal bhujta hai
Woh shaam ka tara lagte ho

Yeh sari afsha'n tumse ha'n
Tum dahnak ka daira lagte ho

Main Arshad raat shumandar sa
Tum dhoop kinara lagte hoo
