Safar main apnay hisay ki musafat yaad rehti hai,
kahin abad honay par bhi hijrit yaad rehti hai ,

wo chahay dosti ho, dushmani ho , ya muhabbat ho,
yahan har haal main apni zaroorat yaad rehti hai ,

kisi sehra ko pyasa chor jata hai kabhi darya,
kabhi pyasay ko darya ki sakhawat yaad rehti hai,

yeh sach hai pyaar phela hi basa rehta hai sanso mein,
yeh sach hai umer bhar pehli muhabbat yaad rehti hai
