ho gay jawan bache boorhi ho rhi hay maan
bey charagh aankhon may khawab bo rhi hay maan

roti apne hisse kide kar apne bachon ko
sabr i chadar aurhe bhooki so rhi hay maan

saans ki mareeza hay phir bhi kitni sardi may
thande paani se kapre dho rhi hay maan

ghair ki shikayat par phir kisi shararat par
maar kar muje ghud bhi ro rhi hay maan

khailne se muje jo rokti thi matti se
aurhe matti ki chadar aaj so rhi hay maan
