O ! mere masruuf Khudaa
apnii duniyaa dekh zaraa

itnii Khalqat ke hote
shah’roN meN hai sannaaTaa

jhoNpRii vaaloN ki taqdiir
bujhaa bujhaa saa aik diyaa

Khaak uRaate haiN din raat
miiloN phail gaye sehraa

zaaGh-o-zaghan ki chiiKhoN se
suunaa jangal guuNj uThaa

suuraj sar par aa pahuNchaa
garmii hai yaa roz-e-jazaa

pyaasii dhartii jaltii hai
suukh gaye bahte daryaa

fasleN jal kar raakh hu’iiN
nagrii nagrii kaal paRaa

O ! mere masruuf Khudaa
apnii duniyaa dekh zaraa
