Meray dil me uski muhabbat buhat thi

Magar phir bhi us ko shikayat buhat thi

Mera dard khulta b kiun kar kisi par

Mujhe muskurane ki aadat buhat thi

Meri zindagi me wo lamhay b aaye

Teri har qadam par zarurat buhat thi,

Mananay ka mujh me hunar hi nahi tha,

Par usay rooth jaanay ki aadat buhat thi.

Ek ajeeb sa manzar nazar aata hai,
Har ek qatra samandar nazara aata hai,

Kahan banaaon main ghar sheeshey se,
Har kisi ke hath mein pathar nazar aata hai..
