Aik Muddat se yeh dil tujh ko sada daita hai
Kitna Naadaan hai khud ko saza daita hai

Ham to har shaam jalaate hain umeedon ke chiraagh
Jaane phir kon use aah ke bujha daita hai

Tumhari yaad ka yeh bhi ajab tamaasha hai
Waqt be waqt mujhe tujh se mila daita hai

Main reet-e-arzoo pe roz khwaab likhta hoon
Woh ban ke moj har khwaab mita daita hai

Main bad naseeb koi raah ka pathar to nahin
Ke jo bhi guzre woh thokar laga daita hai
