Mere aangan me kabhi phool khila krtay thay"

meri ankhon me bhi kahwab basa krtay thay"

Mujhko halat ki aandhi nay giraya warna"

Mere saaye me bhi kuch log rha krtay thay"

Hen yad hmain rafaqat ki wo ghehraiyan ab bhi"

dil ki dhrkan bhi tere sath suna krtay thay"

Aaj wo mehfil me anjan bnay baithy hain"

Jo kabhi mujhy apni jaan kaha krtay thay"

Ab trasti hain teri deed ko ankhen"

ik zamana tha hum roz mila krtay thay....
