shugufta shugfuta bahaane tere

bas ek daaGh-e-sajda merii kaainaat
jabiineN terii aastaane tere

bas ek zaKhm nazaara hissa meraa
bahaareN terii aashiyaane tere

faqiiroN ka jamghaT ghaDii do ghaDii
sharaabeN terii, baada-Khaane tere

zamiir-e-sadaf meN kiran ka muqaam
anokhe anokhe Thikaane tere

bahaar-o-Khizaan kam-nigaahoN ke vaham
bure yaa bhale sab zamaane tere

Adam bhii teraa hai hikaayat-kadaa
kahaaN tak gaye haiN fasaane tere........
