Narrated by Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-`As(Radhiallaho anho):

When Allah's Messenger (sallAllaahu `alaihi wasallam)prayed for rain, he said: O Allah! Provide water for Thy servants and Thy cattle,
display Thy mercy and give life to Thy dead land.
