یاروں کی خاموشی کا بھرم کھولنا پڑا
اتنا سکوت تھا کہ مجھے بولنا پڑا

صِرف ایک تلخ بات سُنانے سے پیشتر
کانوں میں پُھول پُھول کا رس گھولنا پڑا

اپنے خطوں کے لفظ، جلانے پڑے مجھے
شفّاف موتیوں کو کہاں رولنا پڑا؟

خوشبو کی سرد لہر سے جلنے لگے جو زخم
پُھولوں کو اپنا بندِ قبا کھولنا پڑا

سُنتے تھے اُس کی بزمِ سُخن نا شناس ہے
"محسنؔ" ہمیں وہاں بھی سُخن تولنا پڑا
