mohabbatain jab shumaar karna to saazishain bhi shumar karna
jo mairay hissay main aai hain wo aziyyatain bhi shumaar karna

jalaey rakhon gi subha tak main tumharay raston main apni aankhain
magar kahin zabt tout jaey to baarishain bhi shumaar karna

jo harf koh-e-wafa pay likhhay huey hain unn ko bhi daikh laina
jo raaigaan ho gain wo saari ebaratain bhi shumaar karna

yeh sardion ka udaas mousam kay dharkanain barf ho gai hain
jab inn ki yakh bas'tagi parakhna tamazatain bhi shumar karna

tum apni majboriyoun kay qissay zaror likhna wazahaton say
jo mairee aankhon main jall bujhi hain wo khwahishain bhi shumaar karna
