Chashm-e-be'khuwab pe khuwabon ka asar lagta hai
Kaisa pat jharr hai ke shakhon pe samar lagta hai

Mohlat-e-umar bas itni thi ke guzra huwa waqt
Aik dhalkay huwey aansu ka safar lagta hai

Kahin kuch aur bhi ho jaon na raiza raiza
Aisa toota hon ke jurrtey huwey darr lagta hai

Zehan ki jheel se yadon ki dhanak phoot'ti hai
Aik mela hai jo har sham idhar lagta hai
