Kya dhoondty ho ankh ki tehreer me kya hy
ik khwab hy bus khwaab ki tabeer me kya hy

ik bazm khyali ko sajaya hy hunar se
yadon k khad-o-khaal hain tasveer me kya hy

wo hijr ki wehshat hy k batla na saki main
ilfaz me,jazbat me,taseer me kya hy

khush rehti hon machhli ki trah sheeshy k ghar me
ab is se zyada meri taqdeer me kya hy

Jee chahy to ruk jao mere sheher me kuch rooz
jany k lye aye ho Takheer me kya hy

deewangi ly jaye gi manzil ki traf ab
deewar gira di hai to zanjeer me kya hy...!!
