ye preshaniyaaN bhii mujhe kayii raat se haiN
kia shikayataiN sab tujhe meri zaat se haiN

ek tere siwaa mujhe dunyaa maiN koii kaam nahiiN
kiaa merii sab sochaiN sirf tere haalaat se haiN

ye mana ke ab nafrat mere ird gird mandlaa rahi he
aur meri sab jaHtaiN Muhabbat kii baqiyaat se haiN

ab teri Muhabbat se mujhe kia lena dena he jaanaaN
ab tu ranjashouN ke ye saare lafz be-Oqaat se haiN

ye sab aamaal ye tehreeraiN merii apni riwaayaat se haiN
ye sare janoN ke baab mere hi fasouN kii hikaayaat se haiN
