Magr is dil ny tarhpaya boht hy,

Qayamat hy yeh tark e Arzu bhi,

Mujhy aksar wo yad aya boht hy,

Tabassum bhi, haya bhi, byrukhi bhi,

Yeh andaz e sitam bhaya boht hy,

magar is dil ne tadpaaya bahot hai

dil-e-muztar ko samjhaaya bahot hai
