dem-e-ulfat se jii ghabrayaa tu buht roye
jab bhi kisi ka dil dukhaya tu buht roye

tenhaaii maiN jise bhool chuke thay ham
jab usi ne hamaiN galay se lagaaya tu buht roye

youN tu kisi gham ne kabhi rone nahii diyaa
Khoshi kaa koi lamhaa jab aayaa tu buht roye

zindagii bher jis ne hamaiN duaayeN deeN
Usii ne jab hamaiN zehr pilaayaa tu buht roye

na udaasi na malamet na koi sang na khesht
be sabab bas dil ne youNhii chaha tu buht roye
