اور دُکھ سُکھ کی شرکت کو
محبت مت سمجھ لینا
محبت کا لبادہ پانیوں کے رنگ جیسا ہے
محبت ساتھ پردوں میں نہاں ہو کر عیاں ہے،
یہ حقیقت ہے
اور اس کی خوشبوؤں کو ہم
دھنک میں ڈھونڈ سکتے ہیں
مگر یہ بھی حقیقت ہے
کہ اس کو جس نے پایا ہے
وہ اپنا آپ کھو بیٹھا
یہ مل کر بھی نہیں ملتی
کسی کے ساتھ چلنے
اور دُکھ سُکھ کی شرکت کو
محبت مت سمجھ لینا
محبت ایسا منتر ہے
فنا جو ہو نہیں سکتا
