Khuwaab-e-aarzoo sunaa sunaa ke
ab log thak chuke haiN shayed
aur be khuwaab raastouN ke musaafir
kisi Muhabbat ke mazaar per
sir patak patak jaate haiN
HaeeqatouN ke manzer jab
ham pe washagaaf hote haiN
tab hamaaraa junouN bhii
hamaare kaam nahii aata
Ju diye hamarii aankhouN maiN jalte haiN
kabhi kisi firaaq maiN
kabhi kisi wisaal maiN
diye hameshaa jalte haiN
Aaas ke jugnoo roshnii ben ker
raastaa dikhaate haiN
mager ham wo kamzerf haiN
Ju aadhe raaste se
Khud hii bhatak jaate haiN
