chalouN tu ishq ek deryaa thaa mere aagay
rukouN tu piaas kaa sehraa thaa mere aagay

chalo acha huwa us ne khoud hii rasta badal liaa
deewaangii maiN aisi kon tehraa thaa mere aagay

meraa mehboob khuwaabouN kaa musaafir thaa
Aur bersouN kaa her ratjagaa thaa mere aagay

maiN kese iqrar-e-muhabbat ker leta kisi se waheed
be wafa yadouN kaa ek silsilaa thaa mere aagay
