kuch aise ghao bhi hote hain
jinhen zakhmi ap nahi dhote
bin roye huye ansuon ki tarah
sine main chupa k rakhte hain
aur sari umr nahi rote

ninden bhi muhaiya hoti hain
sapne bhi dur nahi hote
kyun phir bhi jagte rahte hain
kyun sari rat nahi sote

ab kis se kahen ai jan-e-vafa
ye ahal-e-vafa kis ag main jalte rahte hain
kyun bujh k rakh nahi hote
