Honth nahi keh sakte jo afsana dil ka,
Shayad nazar se wo baat ho jaaye,
Iss umeed se karte hain intezar raat ka ki
Shayad sapno me mulaqat ho jaye.

Har taraf khamoshi ka saya hai,
Zindagi me pyaar kisne paya hai,
Hum yaadon mein jhoomte hai uski aur zamana kehta hai
"Dekho aaj phir peekar aaya hai."

Muskaan tere hothon se kahin jaye na,
Aansu teri palkon pe kabhi aaye na,
Poora ho tera har khwab aur jo poora na ho
Woh khawab kabhi aaye na

Yun nazar ki baat aur dil chura gaye,
Andhero ke saaye mein dhadkan suna gaye,
Hum to samjhe the "Ajnabi" aapko,
Aap to hume apna bana gaye

Meetha sa dard dil mein utha abhi abhi,
Kya tune yaad kiya abhi abhi?
Ek arse se mulaqat nahi hui
Phir bhi lagta hai tum mile abhi abhi.

Dosti sachi ho to waqt ruk jata hai,
Aasman lakh ucha ho magar jhuk jata hai.
Dosti mein duniya lakh baney rukavat,
Agar dosti sach ho toh khuda bhi jhuk jata hai.
