ghaR maiN baRaf k phool sajaa'ey suraj ko mehmaN kia

mehfil maiN dush'waar tha in se bolna b chup rahna b
aa'nkhooN maiN pehchaaN rakhi aur lahjay ko anjaN kia

aey'hal-janu se baat chali tu qisa dil ka bhayed kholay
moasam-e-jaa'na chor faseel-e-daar ko phiR unwaaN kia

mehfil maiN haR aik se haans kaR baataiN kaRnay walay ne
ik nazaR hum peR bhi daa'li itna tu ahsaaN kia

kitni ghari'aaN giN giN kaa'teiN kitnay moasam beet gaa'ey
dil ka daRd na thehRa pal bhaR laakh kisi ka dehaaN kee'ya
