Wo mera tha k nahi tha usay jasbon per yakeen tha
Mujay us se muhabat thi aur wo kisi aur ka matin tha

Mujay lafzon se dil-chasbi aur wo khelne ka shokeen tha
Usay siraf zarorat thi per lagta wo sakhi tha

Kuch parayon se muhabat thi apno pe yakeen tha
Main samji usay muhabat hai per ausa nahi tha

Mujay rangon se muhabat thi wo tu kud bhi rangeen tha
Wo barson se gia tha per main tahra wahin tha
