Yun hi umeed dilatay hain zamane walay
kab palat tay hain bhala chor ke janay walay

Tu kabhi dekh jhulastay huay sehra main darakht
kaisay jaltay hain wafaaon ko nibhanay walay

In se aati hai tere lamas ki khushboo ab bhi
khat nikalay huay bhaitha hoon puranay walay

Aa kabhi dekh zara inkii shabon main aakar
kitna rotay hain zamane ko hansanay walay

Kuch to aankhon ki zubanii bhi kahe jatay hain
moon se hotay nahi sab raaz batanay walay

Aaj baizaar hai sitara hai na jugnoo koi
raabtay khatam huay saray Tujhse milanay walay
