Koe musam ho hijr ka
Hum yaad rakhte hain
Teri baton se is dil ko
Hum aabad rakhte hain
Kabhe dil k sahefay par
Tujhe tasveer karte hain
Kabhe palkon ki chaoun main tujhe zanjeer karte hain
Kabhe kwabeda shamon main kabhe barish ki raton mein
Tuje yaad karte hain

Ansoo ki keemat wo jaante hai,
Jo kisi ko yaad karte hain,
Dil ke gum wo jaante hain,
Jo kisi ko chahte hai,
Dost ke dard ko wo jaante hain,
Jo use DIl se dost maante hain.
