saath roota tha mery saath hansa karta tha

wohi jo mery dil main basa karta tha

meri chahat ka talabgar tha wo is qadar k

namazoon main milny ki dua karta tha

aik pal ka bicharna bhi gavara na tha usko

roty roty wo mujh ko khud se juda karta tha

mery dil main raha wo dharkan ban kar

or say ki tarhan saath chala karta tha

rog-e-dil jo laga betha anjany main

meri agoosh main marny ki dua karta tha

baat kismat ki thi jo juda ho gay hum

warna woh to mujhy tkdeer kaha karta tha
