Ai dil in aansuoon ko kah do kabhi to tham jaya kareen
Nahi hai sikat in main to mat aankh main aya karain

Zara si thais lagti hai, zara si aas dhalti hai
lari aankhoon say yoon aankh say chalti hai

Jaisay sawan ki jhari, jaisay barkha raat ki pahli baarish
roo roo kar apna haal e gham sunati hai

Palkoon ki ghanni chaaoon main, man ki tanhaai main
kabhi to kaheen to chup jaya kareen

Ai dil in aansuoon ko kay do kabhi to tham jaya kareen
Nahi hai sikat in main to mat aankh main aya karain
