Dhal gaya chand,gayi raat chalo so jayein
Ho chuki yadoon se mulaqat chalo so jayein

Door tak goonj nahi hai kisi shahnai ki
Lout gai aas ki baraat chalo so jayein

Log lqrar-e-wafa kar ke bhula detein hain
Yeh nahi koi nai baat chalo so jayein

Jagtey rehney se bhi ruktein hain batey aansu?
Umar bhar ho gi yeh barsat cholo so jaien
