Labon pay harf na hi koi sawal rakhta tha
Kabhi main zabt main itna kamal rakhta tha

Khaber kahan thi mujhy wo bhool jaye ga
Aik aik cheez jo meri sambhal rakhta tha

Bichartay waqt bazahir to kuch na bola tha
Mager nigah main so so sawal rakhta tha

Woh muskura kay bohat dair chup sa raha
Hansi ki aar main jaise malal rakhta tha

Suna hai ab log usay bohat satatay hain
Jis aik shakhs ka main bohat khayal rakhta tha
