مُعزز بن کے محفل میں اداکاری نہیں کرتا

میں چہرے پر کبھی جھوٹی انا تاری نہیں کرتا

یہاں بہتر ہے اپنی زات کا ہمدرد ہو جانا

تو دے سکتا ہے غمحواری نہیں کرتا

موقع شناسائ کا ہُنر آیا نہیں اب تک

مطلب نکلتا ہو سمجھداری نہیں کرتا

میرا دُشمن میرے دستُور سے واقف نہیں شاید

میں جِس کو دوست کہ دُوں اُس سے غدّاری نہیں کرتا
