The macho star of bollywood, Salman Khan, who had made his television debut with game show Dus Ka Dum and also charmed the viewers with his disarming honesty and down- to- earth attitude, has lost interest in hosting the third season of the show but wants close friend Sanjay Dutt to take over from him.


Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt are very good friends and Sallubhai feels that only Sanjubaba had the wherewithal to fill his boots for the show, which needs an honest and down- to- earth personality to be able to connect with the audiences.

Salman Khan must have been influenced by Sanjubaba’s Munnabhai avatar where he interacted with Gandhiji and did lot of things for the benefit of public despite of being on the wrong side of law. Producer Siddharth Basu feels that Salman Khan had been a fabulous host in the first two seasons of the show and if he was not available for the third season, Sanjay Dutt would be the best option for the channel.

However, he does praises Salman Khan for his professionalism and generosity by saying that Sallubhai would never liked any show to be stalled due to him and would not hold any grudges if someone else was roped in. But till now the channel has not shown any inclination towards hosting the third season of the show. In fact, the channel is said to be concentrating all its energy on their all important show ‘X factor’ for the time being.
