Phir Samandar Ko Bhi Hote Hua Pagal Dekha,

Raat Bhar Dair Tak Kien Teri Baatein Khud Se,
Raat Bhar Samney Chehra Tera Pal Pal Dekha,

Aaj Yaadon Ki Ghtaa Toot Ke Barsi Dil Pe,
Aaj Hum Ne Bhi Barasta Hua Badal Dekha,

Haafza Cheen Liya Hum Se Gham-e-Dunya Ne,
Aaj Hum Bhool Gaye Usko Jise Kal Dekha,

Ek chehra jo Bohat Hansta Tha,
Aaj Uski Aankhoon Se Bhi ‘Behta Kajal Dekha’
